THE SHOW
On the Town is the tale of three sailors – Chip, Ozzie, and Gabey – on a 24-hour leave from their ship docked in New York City. The three all-American buddies are ready to have as much fun as they can squeeze into a limited amount of time. Each comes to New York with different expectations and plans for their stay. Chip plans to see as much of the city as possible relying on his father’s out-dated guidebook. Ozzie plans to meet a lot of girls, and kick up his heels. Gabey hopes to meet his one special girl. It’s an uplifting, fun show with energy and verve. On the Town has several memorable musical numbers including “Come Up to My Place,” “Lonely Town,” “I Can Cook, Too'” “Lucky to Be Me,” “Some Other Time,” and “New York, New York.”
